Envision helping hands: How Envision is turning bottle tops into prosthetic hands.

Updated: Oct 10, 2019

Envison is providing much needed prosthetics for third world countries.

#Prosthetic limbs are expensive to make and are often only affordable to the wealthy, but a company in #Australia is set to change this and help the #environment at the same time.

#Envision, a not-for-profit committed to caring for #people and the #environment, is embarking on a new and exciting project whereby they’re collecting old #plastic bottle tops made from HDPE 2 (High Density Poly-Ethylene) and #recycling them into 3D printing media to create prosthetic limbs for #children in need.

Having smashed their bottle top target , the company is now urgently needing funding to speed up #production by purchasing industrial grade production #equipment.

Please visit their gofundme page for more #information and to contribute to the #campaign.
